MEET ALEX
From his small-town upbringing in the United Kingdom to a fast-paced LA lifestyle and now in Texas, Alex Bryant remains a humble human being throughout every experience in his life and career. As an Emmy® award-winning Project Manager at GSD&M based in Austin, TX, Alex carries over 8 years of experience within graphic design, social media, and television production spread across multiple mediums. Named a distinguished Oprah Winfrey ambassador and a $100,000 national Buick Achievers Scholarship recipient from the General Motors Foundation, Alex soon established himself as an intentional digital force in the entertainment and advertising industries.
His career embarked as a hardworking social media/graphics intern for CBS Entertainment Tonight and its former sister show The Insider while he attended Angelo State University in West Texas. After he received his BFA graphic design degree in 2014, Alex returned to his internship roots at Entertainment Tonight as their production and media assistant, where he accepted an Emmy® certificate in 2015. His inspirational work ethic and infectious personality enabled him to be hand-picked to join NBCUniversal as their marketing assistant for their on-air promotions department at Esquire Network. Alex also worked on a variety of projects including Canada's CTV, Vanity Fair, NAACP Image Awards, Access Hollywood, the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, Bravo, the Rose Parade, the 45th Daytime Emmys, and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Bid Committee to name a few. He received 4 American Advertising Awards and was featured on Oprah.com as a result of his efforts. Even though his work predominantly consists from behind the scenes, Alex also made on-screen appearances on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family and the 2017 Streamy Awards for Dick Clark Productions.
During his spare time, Alex aims to empower, engage and enlighten people from all walks of life through awe-inspiring stories detailing the process of overcoming hardships to interactive workshops to harness practical social media and career-building skills as he speaks at college campuses such as Virginia Commonwealth University, Long Beach City College and Mildenhall Academy. He also makes time as a contributor to 30Seconds.com and leads the SIGGRAPH 2021 Student Volunteers Program. As a natural humanitarian, lifelong student and dedicated professional, Alex strives to share his humbleness and to motivate his growing support system to Dream BIG!
